About The VacWork
Raeketsetsa, a geekulchad Tshwana word meaning "we are doing doing it ourselves" exist to attarct and empower more sisters into the world of ICT. Women and girls have a crucial role in defining and building a digital / tech narrative that will take Africa to higher frontiers. We all have a role to play in eradicating gender imbalances in the tech space and Raeketsetsa seeks to ensure that sisters are not left behind.
Furthermore, Raeketsetsa will champion and support projects that seek to uplift, protect and elevate women/girls through digital or technological tools. These would include projects that helps curb gender based violence,
basic literacy skills for women in rural/remote areas, capacity building in the tech space, and others.
